QUARTER FINALISTS EMERGE IN ACE SUPERMARKET UNITY CUP 2022

 








After the hostilities in the 4 days round of 16 fixtures of the competition, Quarter finalists have eventually emerged.

In the match day one of the round of 16 fixtures, Newcastle FC Oyo got the better of Rovet FA IWO with a 2-1 victory while the 2nd match of the day  saw Oyo A FC edging out Crossville SA of Ibadan on a similar 2-1 margin.


Match day 2, Leeds FC Ilora were eliminated as Tottenham FC came from the dead to win on 4-2 penalties after a 1-1 regulation time scoreline the same day Adifala FC Ogbomosho edged out Netbreakers FC Oyo on 2-1 scoreline.


Other quarter finalists in the competition are Oke Ogun Utd Sports Club who got the better of John Mayor FC Oyo with a slim 1-0 victory on d round of 16 match day 3 while O'Net FC Oyo outscored Marvebright FC 4-3 in a 7 goal thriller.


The final match day today however produced the last quarter finalists as Alatede United FC outsmarted Arsenal FC 2-1 while the only Afijio team remaining in the competition, White lions FC Awe, lost via penalties to Spectrum FC Oyo in a pulsating game.


The quarter final games commence on Wednesday as Newcastle FC tango with Oyo A FC in mother of all battles, 2pm while Tottenham FC and Adifala FC Ogbomosho clash in the 2nd match of the day by 4pm.


Match day 2 quarter final clashes on Friday we will see Oke Ogun Utd SC against O'Net FC, 2pm while Alatede United FC will go head to head wt Spectrum FC in the last quarter final match in the series.


Winners of all the quarter finals go straight to the last four of the competition.
