Sango is the deified Alaafin that is worshipped in over 42 countries of the world. At every World Sango Festival, after Ogun Ajobo, in the night Yoruba people and Sango devotees gather at Koso to observe the cross over into the new Yoruba year.

World Sango Festival always starts with Ogun Ajobo Day and this picture was taken after the prayers at the Ogun Shrine in the palace of the Alaafin of Oyo.

Rashidi Ladoja, Arusa I, who was a former governor of Oyo State.  The occasion had the likes of the Sultan of Sokoto in attendance and many present and ex-governors were at the event hosted by Oyo State Governor, Engr.
